Exchange projects are consulting with schools about the future of Hackney.
The Wick Award and Exchange Projects are working with St
Dominic’s Primary School, Gainsborough Primary School and Wentworth Children’s
centre. Exchange projects are consulting with the schools/centres wider
communities through discussion, actions and making to find out how they would
spend 1 million pounds of lottery money to improve Hackney Wick
So far we have made ‘Hackneyspex’, built sculptural head pieces that hold our thoughts, designed a booklet for other pupils and parents to use, made massive floor drawings and investigated and regurgitated the sights and sounds of Hackney.
