In this workshop
you will build your own low budget hydrophone with adjustable pre-amp. Ideal
for beginners. A hydrophone is a microphone designed to be used underwater for
recording or listening to underwater sound. Once the amp and hydrophone are complete
we will then head out and about to do some field recordings of near-by canals.
You will also work together to build a canoe to take out onto the canal to
collect recordings.
