and get critical and frank feedback as well as hundreds of ideas for new works
or new directions within your practice.
the first problem solver workshop did take place! - and it was brilliant
The pupils were amazing and responded to working in such a massive space. the morning session was made up of 2 minute tasks with groups of pupils and teachers moving to different materials each time. tasks included; make a den, making something as tall as possible, lift everything of the floor and keep it moving and make a pattern.
the afternoon saw each group discuss their plan for an artwork, experiment with fixing and gluing, then they got stuck in.
the resulting sculpture were really innovative and show a great sensitively for scale, shape and size.
we ended with a group crit - audio of which will be posted here soon.
Facilitated by Jack Brown.
Supported by LLDC and Hackney Downs Studios.
